The emervel Range is one of the most recent dermal fillers to enter the New Zealand market. Some argue that Emervel is the most ‘flexible’ range with 5 products in the range; offering the clinician a broader choice of product for each different concern and anatomy.
The Emervel Range consists of:
Emervel Touch – The finest product in the range used for very fine lines and deep hydration of the skin.
Emervel Lip – A specifically formulated product for augmenting the Lips. Some argue this is the best lip filling product on the market.
Emervel Classic – The ‘all-purpose’ dermal filler which can be placed at almost any depth in any area to achieve beautiful results. Primarily this is used for treating lines and folds of mild-moderate depth.
Emervel Deep – This product is specifically designed to be placed deep in the facial anatomy structure to give very natural and subtle results. When deep placement is required, but the result needs to be subtle, this is the best choice.
Emervel Volume – The ‘thickest’ product which can be placed at different depths and still produce great volumisation and facial shaping qualities.
Emervel® is a gel containing hyaluronic acid and lidocaine that is injected by a healthcare professional into or below the skin to restore or augment volume and fullness. Treatment benefits usually last 6-9 months. Do not inject into irritated or infected skin or into an area where there is a non resorbable implant. Do not use in patients with allergy to hyaluronic acid, other severe allergies, autoimmune disorder, hypersensitivity to lidocaine or other local anesthetics, porphyria. Do not inject intravascularly or into eyes or joints. Use with caution in patients with bleeding disorders or patients taking medicines that prolong bleeding times, patients with a history of similar injections being unsatisfactory, angina combined with acute articular rheumatism, a tendency to form keloids or hypertrophic scars or other healing disorders. Patients should be advised to avoid sun, heat and extreme cold until signs of local inflammation have resolved. Do not use before or after laser treatment or chemical peel. Emervel® has not been tested in pregnant or breast feeding women. After Emervel® treatment patients may experience some degree of redness, swelling, pain or tenderness, itching and/or bruising, skin colour changes, hardness or nodule at the injection site, which may last a few days. Other adverse effects may include allergy or granuloma.
